Mr. Daniel Escobar is a teacher at Hillridge Junior High School who teaches Lizzie's class. Mr. Escobar teaches drama and chorus. He runs detention. In "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" Mr. Escobar informs Lizzie that she'll have to be the class valedictorian for her 8th grade graduation. After the events of "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" Mr. Escobar died. The actor who played Mr. Escobar died from diabetes in 2013.
