Digby Sellers (aka Mr. Dig) is Lizzie's cool, laid-back substitute teacher. In his lessons he implies that he has educated celebrities like Frankie Muniz and Christina Aguilera. He befriends Sam McGuire in one of the episodes and dates Matt's teacher, Miss Chapman. He has his own unconventional way of teaching subjects, and doesn't use a lesson plan. He does not "believe in" tests, quizzes, examinations, or grades.[1]
Early Life[]
His family originated in Tobago, and although he was born in East Lansing, Michigan, home of the Michigan State Spartans, he grew up as a fan of the Michigan Wolverines.[2]
