Claire Miller is the secondary antagonist in Lizzie McGuire.
Character[]
Claire is the Head Cheerleader and yearbook editor [1] at Hillridge Junior High School.
She became Kate Sanders' friend after Kate stopped being friends with Lizzie. Even though Kate is usually the more dominant of the two, Claire has shown to be more vindictive than Kate, and often pressures her not to renew her friendship with Lizzie, perhaps out of jealousy.
At one point, Gordo develops a crush on Claire, and she is also friends with Gordo's one-time girlfriend, Brooke.
She is first seen in Rumors, when she judges Lizzie for the cheerleading squad. In Between a Rock and a Bra Place, Claire shops with her mom, who's shown to have a much nicer personality than her daughter and is seemingly unaware of her daughter's cold attitude towards others. Claire is also in Lizzie's science class. Claire, Kate, and Larry participated in Fact-athalon, and won. Claire is known as "Clean Tween" as said in Dear Lizzie.
Appearance[]
Claire's very pretty and popular. She always wears cool clothes, and other students joke that she re-accessorizes between classes[2]. She's also wears a lot of hair clips and headbands.
Unlike her best friend, Kate, Claire is more or less a completely one-dimensional character, representing the often stereotypical popular schoolgirl portrayed in pop culture.
